Maths Time Joy – Hideaway EP

Maths Time Joy is 22 year-old Tim Worthington from London. The singer / producer has just released his new Hideaway EP, the second record for Live For The Funk‘s ‘Our Sounds’ collection.

The three-track EP is first and foremost electronic chillout, much of the records inspiration comes from post-dubstep artists like James Blake and Mount Kimbie and there’s even a hint of purple dubstep in there too. His sensitivity when using vocal samples is something he’s clearly gained from being a singer himself, he was formerly the frontman for indie band Go North, Twin, and his music is textured and multi-layered in a sophisticated and successful way.

The EP is available for free download over at the Live For The Funk website.
