Detz has released his new monthly song, this time ‘October’ (surprise, surprise), and I think it’s my favourite to date.
The song is based on garage beats, the drums skit and skip and are very hollow sounds, the piano plays a dream-like melody while we get the customary pitch-shifted vocal lines, all topped off with a healthy dollop of reverb. The beauty of this song, and many of his others, is the simplicity behind it, there are not a lot of elements in the song but every one is produced with professionalism and flair and it’s the reason that i’m always longing for the next month to come quicker.
